A record book for a daycare room: a blank daily report sheet for each child, a log of arrivals and leavings, and the week’s records — every line blank, every line written by the caregiver, in the caregiver’s own words. This book prints blank sheets and logs only; it holds no care wording of any kind. This is a planning and record-keeping tool, not medical or childcare advice.
The heart of the book is the daily report sheet, printed three times and made to be reprinted daily: the child’s name and the date, then blank sections for the day’s meals and snacks, nap and rest, activities, changes, and notes for home — each headed “in your words”, because the words are the caregiver’s.
Around the sheets sit the room’s records: two arrival and leaving logs written at the door, two weekly record sheets the daily sheets gather into, a family contacts page, and a notes log. A keeping-it-together page and a notes page close the book, and the closed book is the room’s file.
