Car Detailing Checklist

This printable Car Detailing Checklist is a checklist planner for your own car — exterior and interior lists, a walk-around page for what you noticed before anything was touched, a supplies record in your own words, and a detail record that keeps the car’s history, detail by detail.

It opens with the car at a glance — the car in your words, where you detail it, where the kit lives. Then the walk-around: one slow pass, noting marks you already know about, loose items to come out, and anything in the boot to clear. The outside comes next, in two lists: the wash — rinse, wash panel by panel, rinse, dry, and the jambs and boot rim a wash walks past — then wheels, glass and trim. Inside, two more: clear out and vacuum first, mats included, then surfaces and seats, glass and the small places a detail exists for. A finishing list closes every detail with one more walk around.

The lists name the places on the car — no brands are named anywhere, and nothing tells you how to use what is in your kit. Your supplies go on the supplies page in your own words, with a running-low column, so the next detail never starts with an empty bottle discovered mid-job. Blank rows on every list hold your car’s own places: the dog guard, the roof box, the child’s seat.
