A record book for a child’s money, kept by a parent or guardian — and nothing else: blank entry logs, an index, and notes. The adult keeping the book writes every entry: the date, what was recorded in the adult’s own words, and the amount the adult wrote. The book prints no amounts and explains nothing.
This is a planning tool, not financial advice — it does not teach money skills and does not tell you what a child should earn, save or spend; a parent or guardian writes every entry and every amount themselves.
The first record page carries the book’s privacy rule, and so does the Start Here page: first name or nickname only — never a full name, a school name, an address or any other identifying detail — and keep the printed pages somewhere private. No page asks for an account number or any login. A sample row shows the shape of an entry, and its amount column is blank, like every amount in the book. The index lists each entry under the child’s nickname, with the date it was written.
Not the same shelf as its neighbours: the Kids’ After-School Routine Charts (P-223) are parent-kept routine charts — the same privacy rule, a different subject; there is no routine content here. The Teen Budget Starter Kit (P-253) is a blank starter record a teen keeps, with a parent or guardian if they like; this book is kept by the parent or guardian throughout. The difference is who keeps the book — nothing in either book says what a child of any age can or cannot do.
