Pre-written routines fail because they were built for somebody else’s mornings. This one is a builder: you design the routine, from your own anchors, in sizes that survive real life.
The ADHD Morning Routine Builder is a 13-page printable that starts where routines actually stick — the things that already always happen. Pouring coffee is an anchor. Getting out of bed is an anchor. New steps glue onto anchors (“after I pour coffee, I will…”), and the morning builds itself from there. No 5 a.m. club required: it works at any wake-up time.
How the builder works:
1. Anchor Finder — list what already always happens, and what you wish happened. The first list is the skeleton; the second is the candidate steps.
2. Routine Builder Worksheet — sequence the steps: each gets a cue (“after I…”), the step itself, and rough minutes. A running total checks the routine against the wake-to-door time you actually have.
3. My Full Morning — the finished routine written clean, ready to print for the mirror or fridge. A step that fails three mornings running is a design problem, not a discipline problem: move it, shrink it, or cut it.
4. Pick Your Size — the same routine in three sizes side by side: Full, Short (~20 minutes), Minimum (~5 minutes). Each morning, reality picks the size — a Minimum morning is a kept routine, not a failed Full one.
Also inside: a Plan B Morning page (permission slip + your 5-step floor version, written while calm), a Woke Up Late Rescue (a 10-minute out-the-door sequence you design in advance), a Launch Pad page (everything by the door, so the scramble becomes a search-free grab), a 5-minute Evening Set-Up checklist (the one evening page, existing only to make the morning easier), a Gentle Morning Tracker (14 days: date, size used, one word — blank rows are data, never a broken streak), and a Wins + Lessons rebuild page that turns two weeks of real mornings into a better routine.
This builder covers the morning only, from waking to out the door; a full evening wind-down routine is a separate product. It organises a morning — it makes no health claims of any kind.
