Once a year, the papers matter all at once — and they live in drawers, inboxes, envelopes and other people’s desks. The ADHD Tax-Season Document Gatherer gives them one list: each paper named in your own words, where you keep it, a tick when it is in hand, and a still-to-find list for the rest.
This is a personal gathering log, not tax advice — it does not tell you what to file, what to claim, or when; you record, in your own words, the papers you yourself decide to gather. Nothing is pre-listed: no inventory is printed, no form is named, no date is set — the pages print their labels and wait. A privacy note is printed in the book, because the list itself is personal: this log can list personal financial papers — store it somewhere private. It differs from the ADHD Bill Pay + Deadline Tracker, which holds bills and their due dates — this gatherer holds papers you decided to gather, for a season you named — and from the planned annual financial review (P-251): a review looks back over a year, while this log simply collects the papers in front of you.
