Laundry is not one task. It is five tasks wearing a trench coat — sort, wash, dry, fold, put away — and it is the last one where loads go to die.
The ADHD Laundry System Tracker is a 13-page printable that runs the whole journey: a rotation you design once, a weekly board that makes this week’s loads visible, and a load log that does not call a load done until it is put away.
How the system works:
1. My Laundry Rotation — one row per load type, tick the days it usually runs (or give it a rhythm: “every second Sunday” is a perfectly good entry). Decided once, not re-decided weekly.
2. The Weekly Board — the rotation turned into this week’s actual loads, with the three end-of-journey boxes per day: washed, dried, put away.
3. Load Log — The Whole Journey — one row per load, five boxes: sorted, washed, dried, folded, PUT AWAY. After a month, the column collecting the unticked boxes names the real design problem.
4. Care Symbols Reference — the standard garment-label symbols drawn plainly (wash tub, triangle, tumble square, iron, circle, the cross that cancels everything), under one printed rule: your garment’s own label is the authority — this chart only helps you read it, and never overrides it.
Also inside: a Sort System page (your baskets, your rules, in your household’s words), Garment Notes copied from labels (so nobody squints at a collar twice), a Put-Away Sprint page (the last five minutes, given their own checklist), a Supplies Tracker (have it / low / on the list — counted before the emergency trip), a Forgotten Load Rescue page (the wet load in the machine: a restart checklist and a rescue log, judgement-free), and a Wins + Review page.
The household-systems note, honestly: this tracker stands alone. It is not the ADHD Brain Dump + Priority Matrix Pad (that one empties your head) and not the ADHD Grocery Shopping System (that one runs the shopping) — this one runs the laundry, start to put-away. There are no stain-treatment recipes and no chemical or product advice anywhere in it; for how to treat any garment, its own label is the only guide that counts.
Details: 13 pages, US Letter (8.5 x 11″), print-ready PDF. Fully undated — print the board and log pages fresh forever. Calm aqua design with generous white space and one idea per page.
