The first record page opens the record under the pet’s name — a name or a nickname, as you keep it. Each log page holds one line per entry. A sample row shows the shape of an entry, and its amount column is blank, like every amount in the book; the sample names nothing but “Item A”. The index lists each entry under the pet’s name, with the date it was written. Write a nickname for anything you would rather not name in full, and keep the printed pages somewhere private — no page asks for an account number or any login.
