Kids’ Allowance Savings Tracker

Original price was: $10.95.Current price is: $6.95.

Allowance day is the best money lesson your kids will ever get — if the math is visible. This tracker splits every weekly allowance into Save, Spend and Give jars by your family’s percentages, counts extra earnings toward the goal, and shows each child the only number they care about: how many weeks stand between them and the thing they are saving for.

What it does for you:
– The split does itself: set the family rule once (Save 50% / Spend 30% / Give 20% in the sample) and every allowance divides automatically — Give takes the remainder, so the three jars always add up to the allowance to the cent. No parent arithmetic, ever.
– Up to three kids, three different goals: the sample family runs Mia ($10/week toward a $120 Lego castle), Leo ($8 toward a $60 skateboard) and Zoe ($5 toward a $25 art kit) in one tracker, each with their own row every week.
– Weeks to go, not just dollars saved: after 6 weeks Mia has $34 (28% there, 18 weeks to go), Leo sits at exactly 50% ($30 of $60, 8 weeks out) and Zoe leads at 68% ($17 of $25, 4 weeks out) — progress a child can understand at a glance.
– Extra effort counts: chore money and other extras are added to the Save side by family rule, so a $4 extra week visibly shortens the road to the goal.
– The family’s money stays in one picture: the zero-based Monthly Budget carries a Kids’ Allowance line alongside everyday spending, so allowance day is planned, not scraped together.

What’s inside (.xlsx, works in Excel AND Google Sheets):
– Start Here — plain-English setup + your settings (jar split, each child’s name, allowance and goal)
– Allowance Tracker — one row per child per week: allowance, three jars, extras, amount to goal
– Goals & Jars — per child: saved so far, still to save, % there, weeks to go, status; family jar totals
– Expense Log — everyday family spending, categorized
– Monthly Budget — zero-based, Budget vs Actual fills itself
– Dashboard — every child’s progress on one screen
– Monthly Summary — spending by month, Jan–Dec

Instant download. Yellow cells are yours to type in; every formula cell is locked (password sheetdaily, shown in Start Here) so nothing breaks by accident. A sample family is pre-filled so you can see the jars working — rename the kids and make it yours. Rename a child in Start Here and the Goals tab follows (update the tracker’s name list to match).
