Garage Organization Planner

A garage is not organised in a day; it is organised in zones. This printable Garage Organization Planner names the zones your garage actually has — in your words — sorts one zone at a time, and writes down what lives where, so the map in the planner keeps the garage findable long after the sort is done.

It opens with the garage at a glance: where the car goes, the door you use most, the zones you plan to have. Then a zone map — six blocks to name and fill — and a zone planner with room for what belongs in each zone, written by you. The sort checklist works a single zone per session: everything out, grouped like with like, swept while it stands empty, put back as the zone the map says it is, and written into the inventory as it lands. A half-sorted zone, stopped at a tick, is a fine place to end a session — the ticks keep your place.

Then the records that make the sort last: three inventories (tools and equipment, garden and outdoor, seasonal and storage boxes), a box and bin index that answers where anything stands before a single box is opened, a no-home list for things that turn up zoneless, and an out-the-door record of what left, in your words. A short keeping page holds the light upkeep that stops a sorted garage quietly unsorting itself.

No storage system is named anywhere, and nothing tells you how to build or arrange anything — the zones, the items and the words are all yours.
