Couple’s Money OS

The Couple’s Money OS is a complete build blueprint (PDF guide) for setting up a couple’s shared money record system inside your own Notion — an accounts register, a bills calendar, a shared costs log, a goals register, a review schedule and a notes register, tied together by relations and rollups and read from a single dashboard. Records only — this system is not financial advice.

What it is: an exact, step-by-step build specification — every database, every property (name + type), every view, and every formula written out in full, plus a sequenced 30-minute build checklist, a sample-data chapter with fictional data and stated expected totals, and weekly + monthly workflows. The system holds blank records only: the accounts register keeps labels, never balances, and the system connects to nothing. It teaches no way of handling money and sets no rules for the two of you — every row is written by you.

What’s inside the system: Accounts Register (account labels in your own words, with the shared costs logged against each read back as a total), Bills Calendar (each household bill as a dated row with a paid box), Shared Costs Log (each shared cost by kind, grouped and totalled), Goals Register (goal rows you write yourselves, kept as records), Review Schedule (review rows you set yourselves, on a calendar) and Notes Register (the paper trail in your own words) — plus the Dashboard.

Honest note: this is a build-it-yourself blueprint guide, NOT a hosted duplicate-this link — you build the system in your own Notion (the free plan is enough; no Notion subscription needed), following the guide step by step. Building it yourself means you own it outright, understand every part of it, and no seller can ever revoke access. Setup follows the checklist; most builders finish in about 30 minutes.
