A record book for money being kept toward a child’s college years, kept by a parent or guardian, and nothing else: blank record pages, a contribution record and an expense record. The adult keeping the book writes every entry in their own words and writes every amount — the book prints no amounts, no categories and no costs.
This is a planning tool, not financial advice — it does not tell you how much to put aside, where to keep it, or what college will cost someday; a parent or guardian writes every entry in their own words and writes every amount themselves.
Each record page holds one line per entry: the date you wrote it, the item in your own words, and the amount you wrote. The contribution record holds amounts after they are added; the expense record holds amounts after they are spent. A sample row shows the shape of an entry, and its amount column is blank, like every amount in the book. First name or nickname only — never a full name, a school or childcare name, an address or any other identifying detail — and keep the printed pages somewhere private; no page asks for an account number or any login.
Not the same shelf as its neighbours: the Kids’ Money Management Workbook (P-252) is a parent-kept record of a child’s own money entries — small amounts the child handles, written down with a parent. This book is the adult’s own record of money the adult keeps toward college: contributions the adult adds and expenses the adult records, in the adult’s hand. The Baby Budget Planner Printable (P-256) is a parent-kept record of a baby’s household entries; this book is the same keeping hand, pointed at one named purpose, with its own contribution and expense records.
