A teacher’s record book for a preschool classroom: who is in the class, who was here, what the week holds, and what was seen — all written by the teacher, in the teacher’s words, on blank pages that ask for facts and nothing else. This planner prints structure and blank pages only — nothing that scores, stages or advises. It is a planner for the teacher; there is no child-facing content in it at all.
The class pages are written once and refreshed as the class changes: a class-at-a-glance page and a class list. The attendance record holds one month per print — names down the side, twenty day boxes across, marked by hand. Two blank weekly grids (print more as the year asks) hold the week’s shape the way the teacher draws it: five days, morning, midday and afternoon.
The log pages keep the classroom’s paper in one place: a supplies record, a parent messages log (date, who from, what about, answered), a room and displays record, and observation pages that ask for plain facts — who, when, and what was seen — written at the time.
What’s inside (14 pages):
– Cover + Start Here — how the planner works in four steps
– My Class at a Glance — the room’s standing facts in your words
– Class List — names in your hand (first line is a sample)
– Attendance Record — one month per print, twenty day boxes
– Two Weekly Plan Grids — blank weeks, morning / midday / afternoon
– A Day at a Glance — one day, recorded
– Supplies on Hand — what the shelf holds and what needs getting
– Parent Messages Log — one line per message, answered ticked
– Observation Records — plain facts, written at the time
– Room & Displays Record — what is up, and where
– Keeping It Together + Notes
Print details: US Letter (8.5 x 11 in), undated, print-ready PDF. Print at 100% / Actual Size. The attendance, grid and log pages are made to be printed again and again.
Pairs well with the Substitute Teacher Binder — Emergency Plans from the same shop — the binder that covers your classroom on the days you cannot be in it.
