Days are full of sound, light, texture, movement and quiet, and some of it suits you better than the rest. The ADHD Sensory Diet Planner is where you write down what you notice, in your own words, until your preferences sit on paper where you can plan with them. This is a personal preference log, not a therapy program and not a treatment, and the word ‘diet’ in this planner’s name does not mean food. Nothing in these pages is suggested, set or advised: five blank notice logs — sound, light, texture and touch, movement and space, busy and quiet — each asking only when, where, what you noticed, and whether it suited you.
What repeats in the logs moves onto the Preferences pages: what suits you, what does not, and the same lists by place — at home, out and about, at your desk. Blank day pages then take those preferences and turn them into days shaped by your own choices; the planner supplies none of them. Evenings and nights are logged in the ADHD Sleep Hygiene Tracker and the ADHD Evening Wind-Down Planner; this one logs your senses through the whole day.
