A record book for a homeschool year: who was here, what was done, and what was kept — written by the parent, in the parent’s words, on blank pages that hold the record and nothing else. Record-keeping varies from place to place; this book simply holds your records in your own words and your own order, and prints no rules of any kind.
The attendance records hold one month per print — children down the side, twenty day boxes across, marked by hand in your own way. The hours log holds the time as it was spent, subject by subject. The grade record grids are blank, with the four column headings left to you: head them by term, by month, by book — as your family keeps them. No scales are printed, and no mark in this book is worked out for you.
The back of the book keeps the year’s file together: subject records written date by date, a reading and materials record for the year’s shelf, an outings and activities record, and a portfolio contents checklist that prints no items of its own — you write each thing as you file it, and tick it when it is in.
