A pressure washing quote is a promise made before the work exists — and the jobs that lose money are usually lost at the quoting stage, not on the driveway. This calculator builds the quote from your own numbers: each surface at its typed area and your typed rate per square foot, your typed add-ons and travel fee, and your typed minimum charge underneath it all.

It is a quote builder for jobs you have not booked yet — it is not the Cleaning Business Client + Income Tracker, which keeps the client book and the money in for work already sold. It holds no household cleaning checklists, routines or task content anywhere — those belong to the Cleaning & Home checklist line, and this sheet never touches a house’s insides. It is not the Mobile Car Detailing Job Tracker either: that book records jobs already done and what they netted, while this one prices work that has not happened. And where the Lawn Care Route Profitability Tracker judges recurring weekly routes, this calculator prices one-off jobs one quote at a time.

The sample builds one quote from three surfaces. The House Siding is the largest surface at 1,200 sq ft, but at a typed $0.22 a square foot its line total is $264.00 — the Deck, only 350 sq ft at a typed $0.85, bills $297.50, the largest line on the quote: area and money are different rankings, and the sheet prints both. With $105.00 of add-ons and a $35.00 travel fee, the quote total prints at $845.50, well clear of the $150.00 minimum charge.

The Job Cost Check then tests quotes against typed job costs. The sample quote faces $111.25 of fuel, chemicals and other costs and keeps $734.25 — 86.8%. A second, smaller test is the honest one: a $120.00 quote against $138.50 of typed costs prints a margin of -$18.50, flagged BELOW ITS JOB COSTS in the open, not smoothed over.

HOW IT WORKS
– ‘Quote Builder’: one row per surface — surface in your own words, typed area (sq ft), typed rate per sq ft (example setting). Line totals calculate per surface; typed add-ons, a typed travel fee and your minimum charge complete the quote total.
– Two printed lines under every quote: the largest surface by area and the largest line total, named from your own rows.
– ‘Job Cost Check’: pull the quote total (or type any quote) and set it against typed fuel, chemicals and other job costs — margin and margin % print, and a quote below its costs is flagged plainly.

WHAT’S INSIDE
– A surface-by-surface quote build: typed area × typed rate per sq ft, per line
– Typed add-ons, a typed travel fee, and a typed minimum charge the quote never falls below
– The printed split: largest surface by area (1,200 sq ft) is NOT the largest line total ($297.50 deck)
– A two-part job-cost check with a below-cost quote flagged in the open (sample: -$18.50)
– Plus the standard Expense Log, zero-based Monthly Budget, Dashboard and Monthly Summary tabs

Every rate, area, fee and cost in this workbook is an example setting you type — the sheet does arithmetic on your figures only, and never tells you what to charge.

How it works: the seven tabs are Start Here (your settings + step-by-step), the two feature tabs, Expense Log, Monthly Budget (zero-based), Dashboard and Monthly Summary. Yellow cells are the only places you type — every yellow value is your own entry. Formula cells are locked (password: sheetdaily, disclosed on the Start Here tab) and every formula is error-wrapped, so an untouched sheet reads blank instead of showing error codes. Instant download, ready for Excel and Google Sheets.

A note on the sample data: every price and date in this workbook is example data, typed in by hand to show you how the sheet behaves. Replace it with your own.
