Travel Insurance Comparison Sheet

Original price was: $15.95.Current price is: $10.95.

Read this first, because it is the whole point: this is a comparison worksheet, not advice. It lines up the numbers you typed from your own quotes against the thresholds you set. It never recommends a policy, it declares no winner anywhere in the file, and the decision stays yours — the sheet only lines the numbers up.

Insurance quotes are built to be hard to compare: one premium covers 14 days, another covers a year; the cheapest quote carries the thinnest cover. This sheet puts up to four quotes into one grid — premium, the days that premium covers, medical, evacuation, cancellation and baggage limits, deductible — all typed by you, exactly as quoted, and works out the one figure the quotes hide: cost per day.

The sample shows why the grid matters. The cheapest premium, $68.00, carries the lowest medical limit typed ($50,000) and meets none of the four must-cover thresholds. The dearest premium, $154.00, is the cheapest per day ($0.42) because it covers 365 days. And the premium ranking and the cost-per-day ranking are not the same list — both print, from the same typed figures.

HOW IT WORKS
– ‘Policy Comparison’: up to four quotes side by side, every figure typed from your own quotes. Cost per day = premium / the days that premium covers, worked out for you. Premium and deductible are printed as two separate figures and never added into a score — a premium is certain; a deductible is paid only if you claim.
– ‘Coverage Check’: your typed trip cost and must-cover thresholds (medical, evacuation, cancellation, baggage) held against each quote, printing COVERS or BELOW per line, with the thresholds met per policy counted (sample: 0 of 4 for the cheapest quote, 4 of 4 for the other three).
– No winner is declared — a note on the sheet says so in plain words. The sheet cannot see exclusions, conditions or claim service, and it does not pretend to.

WHAT’S INSIDE
– A four-quote comparison grid with cost-per-day arithmetic (sample range: $0.42–$8.64 per day)
– A coverage check against your own thresholds, COVERS / BELOW in print
– Premium and deductible kept as separate figures — never merged into a fake score
– The honest sample: cheapest premium = lowest medical limit = zero thresholds met
– Plus the standard Expense Log, zero-based Monthly Budget, Dashboard and Monthly Summary tabs

No insurer’s real premiums, limits or terms are stated anywhere in this workbook — every figure is your entry from your own quote.

How it works: the seven tabs are Start Here (your settings + step-by-step), the two feature tabs, Expense Log, Monthly Budget (zero-based), Dashboard and Monthly Summary. Yellow cells are the only places you type — every yellow value is your own entry. Formula cells are locked (password: sheetdaily, disclosed on the Start Here tab) and every formula is error-wrapped, so an untouched sheet reads blank instead of showing error codes. Instant download, ready for Excel and Google Sheets.

A note on the sample data: every price and date in this workbook is example data, typed in by hand to show you how the sheet behaves. Replace it with your own.
