Ski Trip Budget Planner

Original price was: $22.95.Current price is: $15.95.

Ski trips bill you in a currency of day rates — so many per day for the pass, so many per day for the gear — and the total only appears when it’s too late. This planner multiplies it out before you book: slope costs per person first, then the whole group, then the verdict against your cap.

The sample prices a trip for 4 people over 5 ski days, and it is honest about the hierarchy: lift tickets are the biggest single cost — $590.00 per person, $2,360.00 for the group — ahead of lodging ($1,050.00) and food ($1,300.00), and the sheet prints that instead of letting the gear rental take the blame. The rental question gets arithmetic, not advice: at the sample’s $46.00 a day against a $390.00 buy price, renting reaches the buy price after 8.5 days — beyond this 5-day trip — and the break-even line prints exactly that, labelled arithmetic only.

HOW IT WORKS
– ‘Slope Costs’: lift tickets (days x your day rate) and gear rental (days x your rate) per person, lessons typed per person, the slope total per person and for the group — plus the rental break-even in days and the biggest slope cost, in print.
– ‘Trip Costs’: the slope lines rolled up by party size, lodging (nights x your per-night figure), food (per person per day x days x people) and the travel figure you type — then the total, the verdict, and the split.
– The money lines: cost per person ($1,727.50), cost per person per ski day ($345.50), and an equal split per person so the group can settle.

WHAT’S INSIDE
– Per-person slope pricing from your own day rates (sample slope cost: $980.00 per person)
– A rental-vs-buy break-even printed in days (8.5 on the sample) — arithmetic, not advice
– Group totals with the biggest single cost named in print (lift tickets, $2,360.00)
– Verdict vs your cap (sample: $6,910.00 total, UNDER a $7,050 cap by $140.00), per-person and split lines
– Plus the standard Expense Log, zero-based Monthly Budget, Dashboard and Monthly Summary tabs

Every price — lift, rental, lessons, lodging — is an example setting you type from your own research. No resort’s real prices are stated anywhere in this workbook.

How it works: the seven tabs are Start Here (your settings + step-by-step), the two feature tabs, Expense Log, Monthly Budget (zero-based), Dashboard and Monthly Summary. Yellow cells are the only places you type — every yellow value is your own entry. Formula cells are locked (password: sheetdaily, disclosed on the Start Here tab) and every formula is error-wrapped, so an untouched sheet reads blank instead of showing error codes. Instant download, ready for Excel and Google Sheets.

A note on the sample data: every price and date in this workbook is example data, typed in by hand to show you how the sheet behaves. Replace it with your own.
